Ping-Pong Tournament (Posted on)

To welcome the new church year and the new school year, St. James is planning to have a Ping-Pong Tournament in August. All ages are welcome to enjoy some friendly competition. Sign up in the Parish Hall! Finals are tentatively scheduled for after the 10 am service on Sunday, August 30.

Jubilate Parent Planning Meeting Announcement (Posted on)

Parents of returning and new Jubilate participants are invited to meet on Sunday August 2 immediately following the 10 am service. Discussion will center on plans for the fall and an exciting Christmas musical entitled “Journey to the Center of Christmas”.

“Summer Singing Saints” is open to singers of all ages! Meet in the Chapel at 9:15 am on August 2, 9 and 16 to learn an anthem to sing for the 10 am service that day!

50th Anniversary Celebration for Rev. Grayson Garvin (Posted on)

A Holy Eucharist service will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Sanford on Monday June 29 at 7 pm celebrating the 50th anniversary of Rev. Grayson Garvin’s priesthood. A reception will follow the service. Many will remember Fr. Garvin’s stabilizing leadership at St. James during the interim between our priests.
